Job Summary
Paraprofessional-level support for Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) counselors, including case management coordination, gathering consumer records from medical facilities, schools, and other agencies, and delivering VR orientation in group or one-on-one settings. Role involves processing VR cases to ensure timely service delivery, some travel, and the potential for supervisory responsibilities. Requirements include knowledge of program area, applicable legislation and agency policies, effective communication, group decision-making, budgeting, and the ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Salary starts at $42,900 and may be commensurate with education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of college coursework plus one year of direct client services experience in a social services setting; a degree is not required
