Job Summary
Conduct daily sales activities by calling on vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, and theatre staff to sell Cook Peripheral Interventional, Getinge, Varian, and Cardionovum products. Maintain existing business by scheduling appointments, preparing stock for theatre lists, and managing consignment and boot stock to minimize expiration. Complete weekly planners, activity reports, and monthly marketing activity submissions while adhering to credit policies and legal standards. Request and follow up on quotations, manage company expenses within the marketing budget, and provide feedback on stock requirements to the Sales Manager.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant degree
- Computer literacy and proficiency on MS Office, specifically Excel (level 2 at least) and MS Word
- Own reliable vehicle with travel in the KZN region, even after hours
- Willingness to work hard and long hours when required
- Advanced planning and organizational skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving
- Demonstrated follow-through, initiative, attention to detail and drive for continuous improvement
- High level of energy and stress tolerance
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain positive, enthusiastic attitude

Desired Qualifications
- Any medical and marketing qualifications
- Preference will be given to a candidate residing in the KZN region
- Medical experience during education
- Previous experience in a similar position such as Vascular or any experience in the Medical Industry
- Knowledge of the target group of customers
- Clinical and product knowledge
- Someone wanting to gain much-needed experience in this Medical Sales Industry
