Job Summary
Conduct daily reunification case support by completing calls with families and sponsors, documenting delays, and reviewing children's records for compliance with federal and state guidelines. Enter and verify information in Salesforce and UC Portal, compile accurate records and statistics, and implement safety protocols including emergency evacuations. Participate in scheduled meetings, workshops, and team operations while maintaining strict confidentiality and professional conduct. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet program deadlines. This role supports the Compass Connections foster care and adoption mission by recruiting foster parents and ensuring safe, timely discharge of service populations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- 1 plus year related experience and/or training
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment
- Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request
- Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks
- Respond sensitively and competently to the service population's cultural and socio-economic characteristics
- Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals
- Provide crisis intervention according to training provided by Compass Connections when needed to maintain a safe environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times
- Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position
- Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures
- Receive an annual Influenza vaccination or obtain an approved exemption as a medical or religious accommodation
- Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor
Desired Qualifications
- 2-year Associate degree from accredited program/institution, or two or more years of college-level course work in a related field
- 2 plus years related experience and/or training
