Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, monitoring, reporting, and technical support to clients in a residential substance abuse treatment environment while performing crisis intervention counseling. Monitor daily activities to ensure client program participation, safety, and appropriate attire; administer breathalyzer and urinalysis tests, and document self-administered medication. Communicate with the treatment team regarding client information and major incidents, completing required intake paperwork and data entry. Maintain the safety, cleanliness, and orderliness of the program environment. This 3rd shift role (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) supports the Veterans Program, requiring a valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively
- Ability to respond to emergency situations quickly and calmly while maintaining control and initiating the proper corrective action
- Ability to drive a vehicle safely and in accordance with all laws and regulations
- Ability and willingness to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles
- One year experience performing security or social service work
Desired Qualifications
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Valid State Driver's License
- CPR and First Aid Certification
