Job Summary
Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customer tables rapidly and accurately while maintaining expo line cleanliness and organizing order tickets. Act as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff, communicating food orders to chefs and prioritizing items such as food allergies. Assist wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, utensils, and napkins, ensuring all food is served by safety standards. Check in with customers to take additional orders, refill water, and remove dirty dishes, always upholding sanitation principles. Relay reports of customer satisfaction to management and handle various requests with a positive attitude.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Busser, Food Runner, or other entry-level role in a restaurant
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
- Friendly, responsible, and punctual
- Customer Services oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety
- High School degree, GED or Equivalent
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to be mobile for prolonged periods of time
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
