Job Summary
Promotes and sells Medtronic products and/or services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. Builds and strengthens long-term relationships with distributors and healthcare professionals; pursues leads, assesses needs, and provides product services to maximize benefits derived from Medtronic's products. Conducts market research on customers and competitors; implements market development plans; communicates customer feedback to internal teams (R&D, Operations, Marketing). Typically an individual contributor with potential to guide junior staff; manages multiple small to mid-size accounts, works independently with general supervision, and focuses on achieving sales targets through account development and strategic contracting. Requires a combination of education and experience in sales, clinical, or related fields within medical devices/healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years experience
- Associate’s Degree AND 4+ years experience
- Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience
