Job Summary
Greet customers and assist them with selecting the appropriate car wash service while operating equipment and machinery effectively and safely. Perform thorough pre-wash inspections on vehicles to identify existing damage, then use cleaning agents and tools to remove dirt, grime, and other contaminants. Dry vehicles using towels or air-drying equipment and provide additional services such as waxing, vacuuming, and interior cleaning as requested. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, including cleaning equipment, emptying trash, and replenishing supplies. Keep accurate records of transactions and maintain a secure cash register while adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English
- Written communication skills in English
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Repetitive full body movement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to withstand exposure to weather 100%
- Ability to bend, twist and climb ladder and work at heights of above eight (8) feet
- Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach and type without assistance from others
- High level of integrity and discretion
