Job Summary
Deliver Carvel and Rich’s frozen goods to supermarket accounts as part of a full-time Route Sales Delivery Driver role. Responsibilities include selling and delivering a complete line of products, maintaining safety, achieving sales and credit volume targets, providing customer service, and executing in-store merchandising. Must be able to drive a truck, lift up to 50 pounds, and begin routes as early as 3am with roughly 10-12 stops daily; CDL-B permit is preferred and reimbursement/help to obtain it is provided. Prior DSD experience is a bonus; a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required, and a high school diploma or GED is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- CDL-B permit preferred (will reimburse and assist in obtaining)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience with route delivery or DSD is a bonus
- Strong work ethic and customer service orientation
- Ability to start early (as early as 3am) and handle 10-12 stops per day
- Knowledge of safety and credit handling practices
- Ability to climb in/out of truck and handle physical tasks
