Cart Runner (Part-Time)

Job Summary
Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas, returning them to the store in all weather conditions. Perform prompt parcel pick-up service and assist guests with what they need, including answering questions or addressing concerns. Maintain Guest Services expectations and standards while communicating effectively with associates and customers. Share customer requests with management to resolve issues proactively. Operate necessary equipment, bag efficiently while maintaining product integrity, and support superior customer service initiatives. Work varied hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand in place for long periods of time
- Ability to walk in the store
- Ability to bend, stoop and lift or push up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity
- Eye-hand-foot coordination
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to read, count, and write accurately
- Proficiency in operating all necessary equipment to perform the job efficiently
- Ability to bag efficiently while maintaining product integrity
- Ability to communicate effectively with associates and customers
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule
- Ability to provide adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
