Cart Retriever

As a Meijer Cart Attendant (Entry-Level Team Member), you will perform a variety of retail tasks to support store operations and customer service. You’ll ferry shopping carts from outside to the store, coordinate and collect parking lot trash, and assist with snow removal. You’ll handle perishable and salvage returns, perform basic store and restroom cleaning, and collaborate with service desk, entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas. You’ll work with multiple departments (Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral) and participate in development programs and other opportunities for advancement and career growth. Strong organizational skills, attentive listening and clear communication are important, as is the ability to lift and move products and operate in a fast-paced environment.
