Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •18 years of age or older
• •You enjoy working with people and providing great service

• •You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
• •Ability to stand and walk long distances (often several miles per shift)
• •Ability to bend, lift, and push/pull heavy lines of carts
• •Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat)
• •Ability to work outdoors in fluctuating weather
• •Ability to perform regular safety sweeps, identify hazards, and report concerns promptly
• •Ability to greet shoppers, answer basic questions, and assist guests with loading heavy or bulky purchases into their vehicles
• •Ability to remove debris or trash from the parking lot, maintain cart sanitation areas, and support spill cleanups or trash collection as needed
• •Ability to collect shopping carts from parking lot corrals and return them to the store using manual pushing or motorized cart‐retrieval equipment
• •Ability to maintain steady cart flow to support guest experience
• •Ability to complete transactions efficiently and accurately using Meijer systems
• •Ability to handle cash and payments responsibly, with attention to detail
• •Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, using friendly eye contact and positive body language
• •Ability to answer customer questions and help resolve concerns with care
• •Ability to build trust and connection that encourages customers to return
• •Ability to support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

Desired Qualifications

• •Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required
