Job Summary
Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and line them up appropriately. Politely greet customers with a smile while maintaining a friendly attitude and providing excellent customer service. Keep the work area clean, orderly, and free from safety hazards by assisting with general store upkeep and ensuring hazardous conditions are addressed immediately. Perform other work-related duties as required to accomplish position objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Ability to work hours and days scheduled, including holidays and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Ability to read and speak English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in both English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in one-on-one and small group situations with managers, customers (both internal and external) and the general public
- Good interpersonal skills
- Takes responsibility for own actions
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form
- Basic math, numeral recognition
