Job Summary
Greets members and guests upon arrival, assists with loading and unloading golf bags, and ensures carts are staged and properly stocked. Maintains rental sets by cleaning, storing, and accounting for them, while washing carts nightly, detailing, and charging batteries. Cleans member clubs at the start and end of play, picks up driving range balls, and keeps the parking lot and staging area free of litter. Assists with starting players and performs other duties as needed by supervisors. Requires driving a gas or battery golf cart safely, lifting up to 50 lbs, and enduring various weather conditions. Weekday and weekend shifts available, including opening and closing rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Possess the ability to drive a gas and/or battery operated golf cart, following safety guidelines
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to withstand a range of outside weather conditions (heat/cold, rain/snow, etc.)
- Must be able to withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight
- Background and drug screening are required for employment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge of the golf game or country club preferred, but not required
- Strong customer service/interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented
