Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly while communicating professionally via headset. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, input orders into the computer system, and maintain cleanliness of the carry out area, bakery, and retail stock levels. Safely handle food prep equipment, assist with expediting and delivery to dine-in guests, and effectively manage guest complaints by involving managers when necessary. Answer phone calls using company script and perform assigned tasks such as pre-bussing tables. Requires standing for entire shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and strong multi-tasking skills. 0-2 years of related experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Must be able to stand for entire shift
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
