Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders accurately while wearing a headset to expedite service. Handle cash and credit transactions, input orders into the computer system, and manage guest complaints by involving managers when necessary. Maintain a clean carry-out area, monitor bakery stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Assist with expediting and delivery to dine-in guests, pre-bussing tables, and greeting guests if the cashier is unavailable. Answer phone calls using company scripts and perform all other duties as assigned, including standing for the entire shift and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to reach with hands
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to verbally communicate with others
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
