Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and accurately package food and beverage orders while adhering to company standards. Communicate professionally via headset to expedite orders, handle cash and credit transactions, and input carryout orders into the computer system. Maintain a clean carryout area, monitor bakery stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving management and assist with expediting meals to dine-in guests, pre-bussing tables, and greeting guests. Answer phone calls using company scripts and perform all other duties as assigned, including multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to effectively handle guest complaints and involve the manager at the appropriate time
- Ability to answer phone calls using company script per meal period in a fast and friendly manner
- Ability to accurately input carry out orders into the computer system
- Ability to safely handle food prep equipment such as beverage machines, salad cases, etc.
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach with hands
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to verbally communicate with others
