Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly while communicating via headset to expedite service. Handle cash and credit transactions, accurately account for receivables including coupons and gift cards, and input carryout orders into the computer system. Maintain a clean carryout area, monitor bakery and retail stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving management when necessary and answer phone calls using the company script. Assist with expediting and delivery to dine-in guests, pre-bussing tables, and greeting guests to tables. Perform all duties as assigned while adhering to safe food handling and sanitation guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
