Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, place carryout orders using menu knowledge and situational selling, and package food and beverages promptly while adhering to company standards. Communicate professionally with guests to determine needs, handle cash and credit transactions, and accurately account for all receivables including coupons and gift cards. Wear a headset to coordinate with managers and teammates, expedite guest experience, and assist with expediting and delivery of meals to dine-in guests. Maintain cleanliness of the carry out area, bakery, and retail sections, monitor stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Effectively handle guest complaints by involving the manager when appropriate and answer phone calls using the company script. Accurately input orders into the computer system and assist with pre-bussing tables or other assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
