Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and accurately package food and beverage orders while following company standards. Communicate professionally via headset to expedite guest experience, handle cash and credit transactions, and input carryout orders into the computer system. Maintain a clean carryout area, safely handle food prep equipment, and monitor bakery and retail stock levels. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving managers when necessary and answer phone calls using company scripts. Assist in expediting and delivering meals to dine-in guests, greeting guests, escorting them to tables, and pre-bussing tables as needed. Perform duties while standing for entire shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adhering to CDC safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Ability to reach with hands
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to verbally communicate with others
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
