Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly while wearing a headset to expedite service. Handle cash and credit transactions, accurately account for receivables including coupons and gift cards, and input carryout orders into the computer system. Practice safe food handling, clean the carryout area, and safely manage food prep equipment. Monitor bakery and retail stock levels, assist with expediting and delivery to dine-in guests, and effectively handle guest complaints by involving management when necessary. Answer phone calls using company script and assist with table escorting, cashing out, and pre-bussing as needed. Perform duties while standing for the entire shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following CDC safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
