Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, place carryout orders using menu knowledge and situational selling, and package food and beverage items promptly. Communicate with guests and teammates via headset to expedite service, handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and input orders into the computer system. Maintain a clean carryout area, manage stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment while following food safety protocols. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving management when necessary and answer phone calls using company scripts. Assist with expediting deliveries, greeting dine-in guests, and pre-bussing tables as needed. This role requires standing for entire shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
