Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly while communicating needs via headset. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, input carryout orders into the computer system, and assist with expediting and delivery to dine-in guests. Maintain a clean carryout area, monitor bakery and retail stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving managers when necessary and answer phone calls using company scripts. This role supports the Bob Evans mission of serving high-quality farm-fresh food and requires standing for entire shifts with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
