Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly while wearing a headset to expedite service. Handle cash and credit transactions, accurately account for all receivables including coupons and gift cards, and input carryout orders into the computer system. Maintain a clean carryout area, safely handle food prep equipment, monitor bakery stock levels, and assist with expediting meals to dine-in guests, greeting guests, and pre-bussing tables. Effectively handle guest complaints by involving the manager when necessary and answer phone calls using the company script. Perform duties requiring standing for the entire shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Must be able to stand for entire shift
