Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly while communicating needs via headset. Process cash and credit transactions accurately, input orders into the computer system, and handle guest complaints by involving management as needed. Maintain a clean, stocked carryout area, safely handle food prep equipment, and monitor bakery and retail stock levels. Assist in expediting and delivering meals to dine-in guests, greeting them and escorting them to tables. Answer phone calls using company scripts and perform pre-bussing and other assigned tasks. Requires standing for entire shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and strong organizational skills. 0-2 years of restaurant experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must have ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
