Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders accurately while following company standards. Communicate professionally to determine needs, handle cash and credit transactions, and input orders into the computer system. Wear a headset to expedite the guest experience, manage guest complaints by involving managers, and answer phone calls per script. Maintain a clean carry out area, monitor bakery and retail stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Assist with expediting and delivery to dine-in guests, pre-bussing tables, and cashing out when needed. Perform duties requiring standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally with others
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Must be able to stand for entire shift
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
