Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders accurately while wearing a headset to expedite service. Handle cash and credit transactions, input orders into the computer system, and manage safe food handling and cleaning of the carry-out area. Monitor bakery and retail stock levels, address guest complaints by involving managers, and answer phone calls using company scripts. Assist with expediting meals, greeting dine-in guests, pre-bussing tables, and rolling silverware as needed. Stand for entire shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate verbally while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily while possessing dependability and exceptional teamwork skills
