Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly and accurately. Communicate with guests and teammates via headset to expedite service, handle cash and credit transactions, and accurately input orders into the computer system. Practice safe food handling, maintain cleanliness in the carryout, bakery, and retail areas, and safely handle food prep equipment. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving management when necessary. Answer phone calls using company scripts and assist with expediting, delivery, table greeting, and pre-bussing tasks as needed. This role supports Bob Evans' mission of serving high-quality farm-fresh food while maintaining a strong focus on guest experience and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
