Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and place carryout orders accurately. Package food and beverage orders promptly while communicating professionally to determine needs. Handle cash and credit transactions, input orders into the computer system, and assist with expediting meals to dine-in guests. Maintain a clean carryout area, manage bakery stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving managers when necessary. Answer phone calls using company scripts and assist with pre-bussing tables or escorting guests to tables as needed. This role supports Bob Evans' mission of serving high-quality farm-fresh food with a focus on perfect plates and bags.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
