Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly while communicating via headset to expedite service. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, input orders into the computer system, and maintain cleanliness in the carry out, bakery, and retail areas. Safely handle food prep equipment, monitor stock levels, and assist with expediting meals, greeting dine-in guests, and pre-bussing tables. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving management when necessary. Answer phone calls using company script and perform other duties as assigned. This role supports Bob Evans' mission of serving high-quality farm-fresh food with a focus on family dining and community roots.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
