Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly while wearing a headset to expedite service. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, input orders into the computer system, and manage guest complaints by involving the manager as needed. Maintain a clean carryout area, monitor bakery and retail stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Assist in expediting and delivering meals to dine-in guests, pre-bussing tables, and greeting guests to tables. Answer phone calls using the company script and perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Ability to reach with hands
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to verbally communicate with others
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
