Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, place orders using menu knowledge and situational selling, and package food, beverages, and condiments promptly while adhering to company standards. Communicate with guests to determine needs, handle cash and credit transactions, and accurately account for all receivables including coupons and gift cards. Wear a headset to coordinate with managers and teammates, input orders into the computer system, and assist with expediting and delivery to dine-in guests. Maintain a clean carry out area, monitor bakery and retail stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving management when necessary and answer phone calls using the company script.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Ability to reach with hands
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to verbally communicate with others
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
