Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, place carryout orders using menu knowledge and situational selling, and package food and beverages promptly while communicating via headset. Handle cash and credit transactions, input orders into the computer system, and manage guest complaints by involving managers as needed. Maintain a clean carryout area, monitor bakery and retail stock levels, and safely operate food prep equipment. Assist with expediting meals, greeting dine-in guests, pre-bussing tables, and rolling silverware as required. Answer phone calls using company scripts and perform all other duties assigned to ensure a positive family dining experience.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Must be able to stand for entire shift
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
