Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly while communicating needs via headset. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, input orders into the computer system, and assist with expediting and delivery to dine-in guests. Maintain a clean carry out area, monitor bakery stock levels, safely handle food prep equipment, and manage guest complaints by involving managers as needed. Answer phone calls using company script and assist with pre-bussing tables or escorting guests when cashiers are unavailable. Perform duties while standing for the entire shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following CDC sanitation guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Ability to reach with hands
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to verbally communicate with others
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
