Job Summary
Greet guests, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly. Communicate professionally to determine needs, handle cash and credit transactions, and accurately input orders into the computer system. Wear a headset to expedite guest experience, safely handle food prep equipment, and maintain cleanliness in carry out, bakery, and retail areas. Effectively handle guest complaints, answer phone calls using company script, and assist with expediting delivery, table greeting, and pre-bussing tasks. Perform duties while standing for entire shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following CDC sanitation guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must be able to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily while possessing dependability and exceptional teamwork skills
