Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders accurately while following company standards. Communicate professionally with guests to determine needs, handle cash and credit transactions, and input orders into the computer system. Wear a headset to coordinate with managers and teammates, assist in expediting and delivery to dine-in guests, and manage bakery and retail stock levels. Effectively handle guest complaints by involving management when necessary and answer phone calls using the company script. Maintain a clean carry out area, safely handle food prep equipment, and perform pre-bussing tasks as assigned. This role supports Bob Evans' mission of serving high-quality farm-fresh food with a focus on family dining experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
