Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly while communicating needs via headset. Handle cash and credit transactions, accurately account for receivables, and input carryout orders into the computer system. Maintain a clean carryout area, monitor bakery and retail stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Effectively manage guest complaints, answer phone calls per script, and assist with expediting, delivery, table greeting, and pre-bussing tasks as needed. This role supports Bob Evans' mission of serving high-quality farm-fresh food with a focus on perfect plates and family dining experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
