Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders accurately and promptly. Communicate professionally to determine needs, handle cash and credit transactions, and input orders into the computer system. Wear a headset to coordinate with managers and teammates, safely handle food prep equipment, and monitor bakery and retail stock levels. Effectively manage guest complaints, answer phone calls per script, and assist in expediting meals to dine-in guests. Perform pre-bussing tasks and maintain a clean, organized carry-out area. This role requires standing for the entire shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and strong multi-tasking skills. Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Ability to reach with hands
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to verbally communicate with others
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
