Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, place carryout orders using menu knowledge and situational selling, and package food and beverage items accurately and promptly. Communicate with managers and teammates via headset to expedite service, handle cash and credit transactions, and input orders into the computer system. Maintain a clean carryout area, monitor bakery and retail stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving managers when necessary and answer phone calls using company scripts. Assist in expediting and delivering meals to dine-in guests, pre-bussing tables, and greeting guests to tables. Perform all duties as assigned while prioritizing tasks and maintaining exceptional teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for entire shift
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must have ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Must possess dependability
- Must possess exceptional teamwork skills
