Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, place carryout orders using menu knowledge and situational selling, and package food and beverage items promptly while adhering to company standards. Communicate professionally to determine guest needs, handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and input orders into the computer system. Wear a headset to coordinate with managers and teammates, expediting delivery to dine-in guests and assisting with table pre-bussing or cashier duties as needed. Maintain a clean carryout area, monitor bakery and retail stock levels, and practice safe food handling and equipment operation. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving management when appropriate. Answer phone calls using the company script during meal periods.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
