Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and accurately package food and beverage orders while following company standards. Communicate professionally to determine guest needs, wear a headset for team coordination, and handle cash and credit transactions including coupons and gift cards. Practice safe food handling, maintain a clean carryout area, and monitor bakery stock levels. Input orders into the computer system, assist in expediting and delivery to dine-in guests, and effectively handle guest complaints by involving management when necessary. Answer phone calls using the company script and assist with pre-bussing tables as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
