Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly while communicating needs via headset. Handle cash and credit transactions, accurately account for receivables including coupons and gift cards, and input carryout orders into the computer system. Practice safe food handling, clean the carryout area, manage bakery stock levels, and safely operate beverage machines and salad cases. Effectively handle guest complaints by involving managers when necessary, answer phone calls using company scripts, and assist with expediting, delivery, and table pre-bussing. Stand for entire shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate verbally while maintaining close vision and focus.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
