Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly while wearing a headset to expedite service. Handle cash and credit transactions, accurately account for all receivables including coupons and gift cards, and input carry out orders into the computer system. Practice safe food handling, maintain a clean carry out area, and monitor bakery and retail stock levels. Effectively handle guest complaints by involving managers as needed, answer phone calls using company script, and assist with expediting meals to dine-in guests. Stand for entire shifts, push and lift up to 50 pounds, and perform various assigned duties to ensure a perfect plate and bag experience.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Dependability
- Exceptional teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
