Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, process cash and credit transactions, and package food orders accurately while adhering to food safety standards. Utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, input orders into the computer system, and communicate via headset to expedite service. Maintain a clean carryout and bakery areas, handle guest complaints by involving management, and assist with expediting meals, table escorting, and pre-bussing. Stand for entire shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and multi-task while prioritizing guest needs. This role supports Bob Evans' mission of serving farm-fresh food with a focus on family dining and community roots.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
