Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders accurately while wearing a headset to expedite service. Handle cash and credit transactions, input orders into the computer system, and manage guest complaints by involving managers as needed. Maintain a clean carryout area, monitor stock levels in bakery and retail zones, and safely handle food prep equipment. Assist with expediting and delivery to dine-in guests, pre-bussing tables, and escorting guests when the cashier is unavailable. Answer phone calls using company scripts and perform all other duties as assigned during your shift.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to effectively handle guest complaints and involve the manager at the appropriate time
- Ability to answer phone calls using company script per meal period in a fast and friendly manner
- Ability to accurately input carry out orders into the computer system
- Ability to safely handle food prep equipment such as beverage machines, salad cases, etc.
- Ability to monitor the cleanliness, organization and stock levels of the bakery and retail areas
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach with hands
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to verbally communicate with others
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area

- Ability to keep carry out area clean of debris and keep the general work area stocked and clean
- Ability to assist in greeting guests and escorting guests to tables
- Ability to assist in cashing guests out if the cashier is not available
- Ability to assist with pre-bussing tables, rolling silverware or any other needed task
- Ability to assist in the expediting and delivery of meals to dine-in guests
