Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, place carryout orders using menu knowledge and situational selling, and package food and beverages promptly while communicating via headset to expedite service. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, input orders into the computer system, and manage guest complaints by involving managers as needed. Maintain a clean carryout area, monitor bakery stock levels, safely handle food prep equipment, and assist with expediting and delivery to dine-in guests, including pre-bussing tables and escorting guests to tables. Answer phone calls per company script and perform all other duties as assigned. This role requires standing for the entire shift, lifting up to 50 pounds, and multi-tasking to ensure a perfect plate and bag experience for our farm-fresh food guests.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
