Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly while communicating professionally to determine needs. Handle cash and credit transactions, accurately account for receivables, and input carryout orders into the computer system. Wear a headset to coordinate with managers and teammates, expediting meals to dine-in guests and assisting with table pre-bussing. Maintain a clean carryout area, monitor bakery stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving management when necessary and answer phone calls using company scripts.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily while possessing dependability and exceptional teamwork skills
