Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders accurately and promptly. Communicate professionally to determine needs, wear a headset to expedite service, and handle cash and credit transactions while accounting for all receivables. Practice safe food handling, clean the carryout area, and monitor bakery and retail stock levels. Effectively handle guest complaints, answer phone calls using company scripts, input orders into the computer system, and assist with expediting, delivery, and table pre-bussing tasks. Perform duties requiring standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Reach with hands
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Bend and stoop
- Verbally communicate with others
- Use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
