Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders accurately while wearing a headset to expedite service. Handle cash and credit transactions, input orders into the computer system, and assist with expediting meals to dine-in guests. Maintain a clean carry out area, monitor bakery and retail stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving management when necessary and answer phone calls using company scripts. Assist with greeting guests, escorting them to tables, pre-bussing, and general tasks as assigned. This role supports Bob Evans' mission of serving high-quality farm-fresh food with a focus on perfect plates and bags.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
