Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, place carryout orders using menu knowledge and situational selling, and package food and beverages promptly while communicating via headset to expedite service. Handle cash and credit transactions, account for all receivables, and accurately input orders into the computer system. Maintain a clean carryout area, manage bakery and retail stock levels, and safely operate food prep equipment. Monitor cleanliness, organize the workspace, and assist with expediting meals to dine-in guests, pre-bussing tables, and greeting guests. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving managers when necessary and answer phone calls using company scripts.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Must be able to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach with hands
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to verbally communicate with others
- Must have ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily while possessing dependability and exceptional teamwork skills
