Job Summary
Greet guests warmly, utilize menu knowledge for situational selling, and package food and beverage orders promptly while communicating via headset to expedite service. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, input orders into the computer system, and answer phone calls using company scripts. Maintain a clean carry-out area, monitor bakery and retail stock levels, and safely handle food prep equipment. Effectively resolve guest complaints by involving management when necessary and assist with expediting meals to dine-in guests, pre-bussing tables, and escorting guests. This role supports Bob Evans' mission of serving high-quality farm-fresh food with a focus on family dining experiences and community roots.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
- Ability to freely access all areas of restaurant including selling floor(s), stock area, and register area
- Valid driver's license
